I hope everybody had a good Christmas. Our Warner hotel Christmas break went off pretty well. For one thing, no cooking and no washing up – you can’t knock that. I am by no means a religious person, but to combine a carol concert with ballroom dancing? Strictly carolling? ‘Take your partners for a quickstep. It’s “Hark the Herald Angels Sing”.’ Not a combination I would ever have thought of. Grotesque is the word that comes to mind.
