Updates losing comments:
OK, there’s a bug, probably in the BuddyPress code or in a plugin (or somewhere), that is preventing the ‘show all comments’ button from appearing (but only sometimes) after old comments have been tucked away out of sight. Very irritating. Here’s a workaround if you get this. Not pretty, not convenient, but at least you can find the old comments – or most of them I think. 1) Click on the name of whoever started the Update. This takes you to their Profile Page. 2) Click on the Activity button below their name etc. 3) You get all of their (or your if it’s your profile) posted comments starting with the latest 4) Scroll down until you find the first Update post in the conversation you’re after. 5) Scroll up from there to find the replies (comments) in the thread. They’re saved away in chunks so there may be some repetition of comments. You may even be lucky and find a missing ‘show all comments’ button.
