I feel another tip coming on. Desperate to retrieve something from the Word Cloud? Do you know some distinctive word or phrase in the text? Well, it’s worth a try, but prepare for disappointment. While the Cloud was up and about, Google cached a lot of its content on its own servers. It does this with many sites to speed up searches. So you could do worse that try this wrinkle – the Google Site Search.

In a Google Search Box type this:
    site:http://writing-community.writersworkshop.co.uk/ “text-you-want-to find”

OBVIOUSLY put the actual text you want to find where I typed text-you-want-to-find. And note that the first space comes after the co.uk/ part. If you get some results then look through them for a little point-down solid triangle icon at the end of the lines which show where the results were found. This triangle icon indicates cached results. Follow the link by clicking the triangle. If you find something you want, copy and paste it into a Word document or document from whatever your chosen word-processor may be. But be quick. I don’t imagine Google will be caching these pages forever.
