@jillybean – read your books pretty much in two days. Really enjoyed them. Love Gregory – big, brash, but loyal to a fault.
Couldn’t find them on Goodreads to leave a review though… Have you posted them there yet?
-
Thanks, Squidge. I’m so glad you enjoyed them ๐
They are both on Goodreads but are easier to find if you search for them as Revolt the king’s knight etc
(tried to leave you a link but dialogue box didn’t like it.)Really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review ๐

I’ll take another look…

Have we ever had an entry in the form of a song before? Formatting may be a challenge, so bear with me.
On a restroom wall in Baltimore,
Above a broken sink,
Someone scratched this message,
โItโs later than you thinkโI took this simple line to heart,
I saw that it was true,
And built myself a sturdy boat,
Then sailed the ocean blue.Time goes…[Read more]

Just about to lose my data connection before surrendering to the joys of wifi at sea. No inspiration here yet. The pain chocolat is good though.

Like Richard, waiting for inspiration – and I’ve next week away from home in which to receive it (several ideas bubbling)

Well, Kate, you’ve got me stumped with this months competition. Still waiting for inspiration to strike.
-
Oh no! I was hoping to inspire, not stump. Maybe a nautical theme from you with the Captain reference?
-
A trawler Captain, he could be the captain of my sole!
-
Sounds fishy to me. ๐
-
There had to be a catch.
-
Good one. Iโve been trying to come up with some smart reply, but Iโve got nothing, so you win this round!
-
Still floundering, Kate?

Enjoyed writing this, and coming back to it after a week away, thought Kate’s was a very worthy winner among a host of fab entries!

Great result @Sandra thanks for hosting a super theme and those comments for all – marvelous. Reading all the entries was a pleasure for me and makes me realize what I’ve been missing since the cloud succumbed to global warming ;-). Well done all and @Kate perfection with your prose and your take on the theme.
