@louisewalters Kept wondering why your name seemed so familiar and remembered you are Louise Walters of Mrs Sinclair’s Suitcase! I read it two years ago and its nostalgia still lingers. 🙂

Hi GippsGirl, that’s so lovely to hear, thank you! I’ve now written and indie published two further books; I am an editor for Jericho Writers (are we allowed to mention them on here;-) and I have founded a small, indie publisher, Louise Walters Books. It all keeps me from getting bored! Hope you are well?

It is! I announced it after York last year, but had been working towards it for months. I’ve signed two authors so far and have another two or three I have my eye on. It’s exciting but so much hard work. So although I’m working at York this year, it will feel like a break!

The @denofwriters twitter account is now active (well, is active again after I foolishly gave twitter a reason to deactivate it). Will try to follow as many of you as possible, and retweet writing related tweets as much as I can.
