Hi Tony, are you working on another novel?
Hello Bren. I’d like to be! But I’m still writing my great-grandfather’s biography which is taking much longer than I anticipated. But I’m thoroughly enjoying doing it.
I don’t know if you saw that I wrote a children’s book last year to read to all my grandchildren when we were all together for a week in the New Forest. It was an children’s adventure set in the New Forest. Well this spring we all went on a canal holiday and I toyed with the idea of another holiday-based story and inevitably thought about your book. In the end I decided not to take the time off from the biography, so that didn’t get written.
I’m glad you are enjoying the research and writing. I am out of the loop at the moment but hope to launch Dragonflies soon. Dick has been very ill so I missed the launch before Christmas. He is on the mend now but it will be slow.
I was sorry when you told of of Dick’s illness. Good to hear he is slowly recovering. Give him by best regards. You, too. Happy Christmas.
