Sorry guys – depression took a massive swipe over the last week and held me up. Just about to get the thread set up for Class 3.

Technically, we’re at the end of the 3 weeks for Class 2.

Try something new!

My intention was to write everyday and to start using the journal, but I am not there yet! I am still working up to actively arriving at my desktop each day…

I like the sound of your plan, Janeshuff. They look like good, realistic targets.

I’ll put class 2 up on Monday, then.

I am also being a bit lax in the commenting and writing exercises part, but will aim to be more active on it shortly.

I shall get my reflections together in the next couple of days. My IRL writing group is reading at a local festival thing tomorrow night, and I seem to have lost my multitasking skills…

With regards to the next seminar, can we share thoughts on how it’s gone so far over the next few days.

The idea of this thread was also to have conversations about the readings/unit, so go ahead and post reflections here.

I have to say, my Twain dialect sounds a lot like my Of Mice and Men California dialect – that is, they more sound to be from Barnsley.

I have not done any exercises yet. I did I Remember for another thing a few weeks ago and I think confusion might be something that fixes memories for me!

Love the dialogue, Raine. Did you do that as you listened?

I read the gorgeousness passages out whilst in the bath. One of my dogs came and listened, but I can’t say he looked overly impressed…

Finally read all of Chapter 1 in the Burroway book. It made lots of sense and I can already feel the details slipping away from me… To that end, I am going to try writing myself some summaries of the readings and see if they help it go into my memory better.

Classroom construction will begin as soon as I have more tea.
