I've gone and done it again!

I can’t believe I’m writing this, but I have more good news to share. I have just been informed that my story, 32 Ivy Place, has won the Doris Gooderson Short Story Competition. They had this to say:

All the judges enjoyed reading your story and I have the pleasure of informing you that it has been judged to be one of the top three.

We particularly like the engaging voice that you have used in your story, this feels appropriate and the humorous nature carries the story along well. Also, we feel that it highlights the important issue of homelessness within a well-structured and highly enjoyable story.

All the judges agreed that they liked your story the most. Everyone at Wrekin Writers would like to congratulate you on being awarded first place in the competition …

… We will be publishing your story on our website and in our book, the Wrekin Writers Anthology 2018. We would love to include a small bio about you and your writing on our website, so please send us a few details and feel free to include links to your blogs or similar. We will post a complimentary copy of the book to you in the new year – usually around May time. I hope you enjoy it.

So, I need to compose a bio. That’s a first.
