Sorry I haven’t been around for so long (and probably missed loads). It has continued to be a busy time for me. More than that, after finding fatal flaws in my current book, I decided on a complete rewrite. I also decided to give York another try, mainly to see what is happening out there in the publishing world, and what they might now be looking for, following the dreaded C19.
With a lot of graft, I’ve managed to finish the MS ready for beta reading prior to the festival, which helps me to talk about word count etc.How the book-so-far goes down (there and with my beta reader) very much depends on how available I’ll be writing-wise to take part in the winter challenge, but I’m hoping to make it this year.

Hope York goes well – I didn’t pick up on it this year as was already booked for a weekend away in September…which I can’t go to now because of visitors from India! Next year…
Thanks, both. I’m hoping it’s going to be a good investment as well as enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing some old friends and hopefully get the ‘York’ feeling. I’ll report back.
