Had a great night at NIBS this week, our little creative writing group in Nanpantan. As I am Chief Prompt Finder, it got me thinking about what I prefer to use and why – and what kind of prompts work best in group settings.
So I’ve mused a bit on the Scribbles; you can see what prompts we used this week, and I’ve also posted a piece I wrote using one.
But I’m more interested in knowing what kind of prompts YOU prefer to work from? Do you always need a picture, or do you prefer words? Are you up for a challenge or d’you stick to the same old same old? The monthly comps on the cloud (and their newly instated cousin here in the Den) were a brilliant way to get things going, but you may have another brilliant prompt to share with us…?
