I thought this very well written, John; nicely constructed, with the flashback. I kept wanting to read on. The only suggestion I would make is in the ending. “He was my first” is good because you immediately think she means her first time with a man, but quickly we see that’s not what she meant – which gives away the ending too soon. I’m glad you are enjoying the research and writing. I am out of the loop at the moment but hope to launch Dragonflies soon. Dick has been very ill so I missed the launch before Christmas. He is on the mend now but it will be slow.
-
I was sorry when you told of of Dick’s illness. Good to hear he is slowly recovering. Give him by best regards. You, too. Happy Christmas.

Thank you Tony, Happy Christmas to you too.
