I like your suggestion about adding tension and about trying. My idea was to show what happens when you stop trying and how quickly things can spiral if you don’t reach out to people, but I think I can work out hints at failed attempts and create some more tension.

Always great to have ‘one of our own’ to cheer on. Mind you, I’m going to have to hold myself in check. Apparently, I’m doing the comp intros on both Friday and Saturday this year. Even though the decision isn’t down to me, I’ll be tempted to jump up and down and yell, ‘Vote for her!’
