THE FUTURE (379 words)
For what it’s worth, he never hit me, but then, he didn’t have to. He found so many other ways to hurt me. So many other ways of subjugation without resorting to physical violence.
You think I’m exaggerating, don’t you? That it couldn’t have been as bad as all that. After all, I’m well presented, aren’t I? Decent figure…[Read more]

Andrew Wille's DIY MA course 6 years, 5 months agoJust skimmed this, Jane, but I love Dipsy!
Yep, I also found the ‘bony, restless fingers’ at odds with her large hips, (although possibly also influenced by her having the same name as a teletubby :)) -

Well done, J!
Apologies, John. I actually wrote something for this but never got round to tidying it up 🙁 -

Andrew Wille's DIY MA course 6 years, 6 months agoIt works for me! Okay, I stumbled over the ‘gorgeous’ writing (which I may have complicated by trying to combine it with ‘something I know nothing about’) but, hey, I can chip away at that as and when.
The journal is up-to-date and close to being a habit, so that’s good, and I’m looking forward to four months of unemployment to help me catch up…[Read more] -

Andrew Wille's DIY MA course 6 years, 6 months agoAbsolutely fabulous! And intense. An assault on the senses. My kind of gorgeous, too 🙂
And your ‘I Remember…’ made me remember the obstacle course of childhood.

Andrew Wille's DIY MA course 6 years, 7 months agoAll the I remembers so far seem to have been a release of sorts. What happens when you focus on one and break it down further?

It’s been a funny couple of days, hasn’t it? What with Ath’s comp and these ‘I remembers’ some unexpected emotions have floated to the surface. -

Andrew Wille's DIY MA course 6 years, 7 months agoThis served as a reminder of the things we go through as children. It’s quite harrowing, in a way, although thank goodness for Glenn’s mum!

Andrew Wille's DIY MA course 6 years, 7 months agoStill working on the ‘Thing I no nothing about’ and, since there’s little hope of any gorgeousness, I’m posting my I remembers…

Untitled (314 words)
We’d been to Tesco’s. A late night shopping trip. I bought a ready meal and a soft, fluffy scarf in shades of blue and grey. In the car home we talked about a chip shop tea and the possibility of potato fritters.
‘Your grandad used to make potato fritters,’ I said. ‘As a special treat. Mixed up the batter and did them in t…[Read more] - Load More
