The new 24 unread messages zine is open for subs until 28 Sept. It’s for pieces of flash fiction taking the form of emails that for whatever reason remain unsent/unread

“The title is ‘24 Unread Messages‘ and the theme is going to be emails that people wanted to write but never actually sent. For many of us, emails have become a normal part of life and we all get messages we don’t really want to read. What about those that could and perhaps should have been pinged into the ether, but didn’t make it for whatever reason?”

Daeds, as many of us are still finding their way around the Den, is it worth re-posting this? And, perhaps, giving a longer deadline? It’s a fantastic concept.

Thanks GG, it’s a great idea isn’t it? I don’t have any control over the deadline unfortunately, it’s not a zine I have any involvement in. But people have another two weeks to submit something, and as it’s for 250 word flash, there should be a bit of time to get something in
