Amanda Berriman (Skylark)ParticipantSuch a brilliant night and so chuffed for you, Helen. I really want to read your book based on what you read last night 👌👌💕💕
Amanda Berriman (Skylark)ParticipantThank you all! Already having a great time. So great to be back here again and meeting up with those of you who are also here. Anyone know how I upload a photo from my phone into one of these replies?
Amanda Berriman (Skylark)ParticipantThat sounds scary!! I’d rather they were up there with me 😂😂 At least Debi will be 😊😊 Sorry to miss you this time x

Amanda Berriman (Skylark)ParticipantThank you @jillybean both for the cheering and the tag explanation! And @madiguana that’s helpful too 😊
@raine Sorry to miss you this time – enjoy the wedding! I’m missing one to be here this weekend 😳 (Very understanding friends though!)
Amanda Berriman (Skylark)ParticipantJust spotted this – fantastic news, Philippa! See you in Sunday 😊😊
Amanda Berriman (Skylark)Participant@Mad Iguana Sorry to miss you this time, but totally understand! And thank you 😊
Amanda Berriman (Skylark)Participant@Jonathan thank you! And that sounds great – enjoy!
Amanda Berriman (Skylark)Participant(Side note: still getting used to this site. How do those tags work and how come some names became tags and others didn’t?)
Amanda Berriman (Skylark)ParticipantThank you all!
@Julie Cordiner looking forward to seeing you too!
@GippsGirl Sorry to miss you this time – hug accepted and returned! 😘
@Louise see you there!
@Daedalus steady on, I’m not supposed to blub until Sunday 😉😁
@Philippa you’re well on your way. I can’t wait to see where your journey takes you on the next few years 😎😍-

Amanda Berriman (Skylark)ParticipantI’ve just checked and the same for me. This might be it 🙁
Amanda Berriman (Skylark)ParticipantAlso while keeping an open mind to the feedback you receive, don’t forget you’re in charge and you can ‘Accept, adapt, reject’. You don’t have to take on board all advice you’re given and the best way to decide what is and isn’t useful is to read feedback and then give yourself time to think about it, coming back to it after a little break with a fresh eye.
Amanda Berriman (Skylark)ParticipantHahahaha! I got that, don’t worry 😀
Amanda Berriman (Skylark)ParticipantOops! But the good thing is that making mistakes isn’t the end of the world – which you have proved! And I’ve had plenty of mistakes along the way too…
Amanda Berriman (Skylark)ParticipantYes, agree with that Philippa. I’ve not got anything else to add yet, except to agree with comments already made – and thank you for setting this up!
Edit: and like the edit button!
Amanda Berriman (Skylark)ParticipantEverything Philippa said! Though re the faux pas, do you mean in terms of naming the agent specifically or not saying that it’s being read at all? Because I’ve always been told it’s good to let other agents know that you’re sending it to other people, that other people are reading the full etc. and this is what I did when more than one person was reading mine and no one seemed to mind. (Or maybe no one told me!)
DMs – I’m not sure if there is a quicker way but if you click on members and find the person you want to send a message to, you then click on their profile and under their name there’s an option to send them a public or private message.
Good luck, Pinks!
Amanda Berriman (Skylark)ParticipantGreat idea, Athel 🙂
