Haha Odo the lurcher will always have a special place in my heart but I was talking of bishop Odo – who behaved exactly as a bishop was not supposed to both in going to war bearing arms and in other matters ๐

Blushing furiously, Philippa, because I’ve only just found this and we missed each other at York too. Good luck with the book – you’re obviously onto something x

Is this the kind of thing peeps meant? Still needs a tweak or two, yet, but…
By Tildaโs twenty-sixth attempt to produce an illuminorb, Silviuโs patience was wearing thin.
โConcentrate, Tilda,โ the Ambakian powermage snapped.
โI am concentrating.โ Tilda rubbed her palm against her trouser leg. It felt hot; surely she mustโve been close to…[Read more]

*air punch* Yes, publishing moves at a glacial pace but this is a fabulous stride forwards – at last. I saw your lovely agent at York, though we didn’t have a chance to chat. I do know how much she adores you though. (Don’t we all!) xx

Every ending is a new beginning! *grins like she’s in an inspirational photo*
I have an idea but I think even as a new beginning it might be a bit depressing!
Now I know that’s not true, Raine!
You can have a new beginning that will inevitably lead to a dismal ending. Just take out the ending.
i.e. “She fell in love with him the moment she saw him singing along during Mamma Mia 2.”
I too seem unable to think of anything except gloomy endings
Mad, that’s exquisite!
@janeshuff, suggestion for next month’s challenge perhaps! ๐
I’ve taken a morning off to write something – the first one unsettled me so much, I was determined to make it uplifting, regardless of crap-factor.
