I removed that sidebar because a glitch in the WP software meant that it was displaying posts from private groups publically, Richard. Apparently this has been an ongoing issue since 2013 and no one has yet found a workable repair to the code. Will have a proper look at it or at an alternative when I’ve got time next week. I have received six arcs this year so far about exactly that, Richard. And I note many othets coming into the library where I work. They are all some permutation on the haunted house. There is definitely a market for it.

Forgot to say: though I say it as shouldn’t, I find the book less convincing as a ghost story than my own, and the climax is a bit OTT. Well, I’d better carry on with trying to lick my MS into better shape.

Not actually a Haunted House, but still ghostly, and very creepy, Susan Hill’s Dolly is the most enjoyable book I’ve read this year.

Den address is correct. I do think some of the problem might be my fault (forgetful of passwords) My main panic was missing out on Ath’s Room with a View deadline, so I’ll sit tight until the 21st at least.-
Sandra, DON’T PANIC. I extended the deadline to the 30th in the hope that some of our former entrants might find their way here in the extra time.

Yes definitely fine for everyone to post lists of blogs and/or books they found useful. I guess we can see what we get and if it starts to get clunky we can amend it to create master lists.

I can look at a plugin to display certain blog rss feeds on the sidebar if you like?
Failing that there’s a lot of writing blogs I’ve found useful. I was going to post a list of them in the lifeboat 🙂
